Default Is there a 'scammer' list somewhere?

Three times today this happened to me... i joined a party where the runner claimed he was a 'Pro,' and if he died the run was free (this was in elona reach).
The run was the mission and bonus in under 10 minutes, and his name was ---. He died, got rezzed, and then died again. All the while saying his brother was putting his hands on the screen, then he said we shouldnt have been typing. I said so i guess we get a free run, and he goes on along the lines of its all my brother's fault etc etc. We get back to town, he says stfu noob stop trying to get a free run, then boots me from the party. Im thinking there should be an official scammer list somewhere, and people can post names and screenshots of what happened (unfortunatly, i didnt get a screenshot - people were spamming the /roll command most of the mission).

You didn't loose anything outside of a bit of time so not a scam. personally, I recomend just doing the mission if you haven't done it before. Getting by the ascension missions without the use of a runner is a good way to learn a few things, such as aggro management.

We don't allow such a list on GwG because of the potential for accusing innocent players, and because that's what http://support.guildwars.com/ is for.

notice i said WITH A SCREENSHOT ~ if there ever was that kind of list created, the person i named wouldnt be able to be added. There would have to be proof, of course. The main reason is so that people know who doesnt pay for runs, who gets payed for a run and leaves halfway, etc. (especially droks runs). If there was some sort of compilation, it would be quite helpful, and would probably help tone down the number of people who steal/dont pay.

Hate to break it to ya, but it's fairly easy to mock up a screenshot of someone scamming another person. GwG doesn't allow such lists on our forums, and that's final.

Did you pay him upfront or during the run?

If he booted you and you didn't have to pay anything for the failed run, then you didn't get "scammed" out of anything.

You just didn't have to pay for a lousy run.

that was an example, but it has happened to me during droks runs (you pay 1-2k at snakes then the rest at rankor, i have had runners leave as soon as everyone pays @ snakes or as soon as everyone has payed in rankor).

Why would they do this...? The hardest part of the Forge run is Beacons to Lornar's. Dreadnoughts is easy and then your in Snakes. So, if they have the ability to run to Lornar's why wouldnt anyone who can do this stay and run you to Rankor? As that is still an easy run. They only make 1.5 - 2k at snakes, so there is no point in wasting your time getting to Lornars and then only make half of the pay packet.

If they run at Rankor yes thats scamming and things should be done about that. I personally think that if Anet did something about Forge scammers the price would again be worth the run and the 'Pro's' would bugger off (50% of the people that call them selves 'Pro's' are scammers imo).

I think I saw that guy at Elona a couple of days agao.
He was spamming: running mission, free if I die.

How about this, why do not you actually play the game.

Me thinks this thread might want to end before it goes to far.

The guy above me is correct.

Question:
Is there a scammers list?
Answer:
No, there will never ever be a scammers list in GWG.

If you want tips on reporting, and avoiding scammers, search 'scam' or 'scammer'.
